Curiosity

I'm glad that I was curious enough to participate in project play. I have learned so many new things that I didn't even know existed. What a great way to promote the library to those more curious than I that go looking for blogs, youtube(s)(?), podcasts, screencast, milk, and mashups. My hope is to incorporate these things that I learned about in the many years I have left before I retire. I promise to continue to look at the project play posting to review what I have learned and look for the new things I will need to learn in the future. Only have 10 years to (full) retirement so maybe I can do it!!

Mashups

I really liked the result of the mashups, they even are fun to do. Of course it will take me a while to really figure them out fully. I think that by using the mapbuilder it is a great way to show patrons all of the libraries in our consortium.

I will probably go back and look more at the other some of the other mashups, they looked interesting but I'm not sure how I would (could) do something like that.

I am going to do something with a family map - that will be fun. Just have to find the time and then try to remember how!!!
