Podcasting

I subscribed to the Denver Public Library podcasts, I liked that they have stories for children on theirs. I will also try to do option 2 one of these days and post my own podcast. I am learning a lot from the podcasts and hope to participate in some of the OPAL programs.

Social Networking

So I looked at the myspace libraries and found that I had a really hard time trying to really see what was there. There is a lot of information available on the pages and seems to be a good way to interact with your patrons. Guess I have to be a member of a much younger generation to get it! I think if I knew that there would be a lot of patrons interested in using a myspace page to interact with the library I might consider doing one -- but I would need lots of help!!!!

Remember the milk

I think that remember the milk will be a great way for me to keep track of tasks I want (need) to complete. I hope to come back to this lesson and do some of the extra assignments. I will have to add that to my list in "milk"

Google docs

Google docs are very interesting, I am hoping to use them often. I think that when I have to go to another computer to do some work it will be much easier. It will also be easier to edit some of the staff's reports and documents.
